Barcelona / Menorca 2024

We flew in to Barcelona and had a day to recover from jet lag, and to visit the Mies van der Rohe Pavillion. The Pavillion was built in 1929 and was the headquarters of the German Pavillion for the International Exposition in Barcelona. Besides the statue was displayed a modernistic chair design, for which he is famous.

Next stop, Menorca. We took a short flight, landed in the capital city Mahon, picked up a rental car, and headed to Clyde and Tracey’s apartment, where we would be staying. It was a few blocks from the old town
