Bike and Boat, Greek Islands, Day 5, Leros
We left Patmos at 6:40 am, coffee at 7:30 am and arrived at the town of Lakki on Leros island. The riding was a bit of a repeat of the ride on Patmos: windmills followed by castle / monastery.
The castle is the Castle of Panteli, built in the 10th century. It was built on Roman ruins, and has been owned by Byzantines, Crusaders, Turks, Normans, and Italians.
We stopped to visit the seaside chapel of Agios Isidoros, built in the 14th century.
