Bike and Boat, Greek Island, day 2, Kos to Kalymnos

We left Kos at 5:00 AM, and mostly slept through the trip to Kalymnos. The weather had turned windy, and we headed to Kalymnos instead of the scheduled Lipsi in order to find a more sheltered ride. We were on our bikes in the town of Pothia by 10:30. We rode through town, and did a 40 km (25 mile) loop ride around the island. There were narrow steep streets, aggressive scooters everywhere, and fast traffic. Plus dogs and cats and pedestrians.

We had planned to visit the island of Lipsi next, but winds made that stop unwise. We did 2 days on Kalymnos instead.

About 2/3 through the ride we got to the small harbor town of Rina, stopped and had calimari, swordfish, grilled veggies, fries, bread, and beer and Coke Zero.
